TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is highly recommended that you purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance before you complete the purchase of your Trip. Medical out-of the-country insurance is strongly recommended. Government, private health plans and credit cards provide either none or limited coverage while travelling outside of the country. Nextep Tours can offer you a complete travel insurance package, including medical and hospital, trip cancellation and interruption, and lost baggage. Most insurance companies do have exclusions in their coverage. Pre-existing medical conditions and pregnancy are not insurable. High-risk activities such as skydiving, parachuting and Bungee jumping may not be covered by the insurance. If you are currently ill, your doctor should give you the authorization to travel out of the country. Read and understand the eligibility rules, limitations, exclusions and definitions of the insurance you have before venturing abroad. Extra travel insurance can often be purchased.
This contract permits price increases. However, no price increases are permitted after the customer has paid in full. If the total price of the travel services is increased and the cumulative increase, except any increase resulting from an increase in retail sales tax or federal goods and services tax, is more than 7 percent, the customer has the right to cancel the contract and obtain a full refund. OPC clients of Nextep Tours are fully covered by the Office of Consumer Protection fund in the event of a default by any travel supplier, no matter where he resides, even outside of Quebec, provided the client has contributed to the FICAV Fund.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
It is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain information and to have in their possession all travel documentation (such as passports, visa, where applicable, etc.) required by the relevant governmental authorities. Failure to have proper travel documents will result in denied boarding and automatic cancellation of your reservation without refund.
Prior to making a booking and for more information on mandatory travel documentation, see:
